To celebrate the start of a new academic year and new leadership, 鶹 will host a ‘Meet the President’ event from 4:30-6 p.m. Aug. 28 at Dry Lake Brewing in Great Bend.
This will be the first stop in a series of similar events across 鶹 County and the College’s service area. The event will allow community members, local leaders, and alumni to meet and engage with 鶹 President Dr. Marcus Garstecki. The setting will allow for open discussion with brief comments from the president at 5:30 p.m.
"I look forward to engaging with our community in a relaxed and informal setting,” he said. "This event is a great way for us to connect with those we serve, hear their thoughts, and share the exciting things happening at 鶹."
Attendees will have the chance to ask questions, offer feedback, and enjoy light refreshments provided by the 鶹 Foundation.
