The Â鶹¹ÙÍø Theatre Department will hold its last performance of the school year, the Thespian Showcase, at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 6 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
Barton Theatre students will perform monologues, scenes, musical theatre, improvisation and original work. The Â鶹¹ÙÍø Theatre Department will hand out year-end acting and technical awards. Admission is free and complimentary refreshments will be provided at a reception following the performances and ceremony.
“The Thespian Showcase is an integral part of our two-year theatre program,†Â鶹¹ÙÍø Theatre Director Erin Renard said.Ìý “It allows for student creativity, leadership, nurturing of talent and provides an alternative atmosphere for performance. The showcase is also part of our year-end Â鶹¹ÙÍø Theatre Award Ceremony where theatre students are recognized for their excellence in stage and technical work during the academic year.â€
