Christian Rivas wanted real-life experience in law enforcement before he sought to attain his long-time goal of teaching college-level criminal justice. He was able to get that experience at the Great Bend Police Department (GBPD) and now is the instructor/coordinator for the Criminal Justice Program at Â鶹¹ÙÍø.

Maddy Hayden-Rideaux is the head coach of the Great Bend High School Dance Team, and she owns Be Dance Studios in downtown Great Bend. She’s truly living her dreams and built a large part of her dancing foundation right in her hometown at Â鶹¹ÙÍø.

The Â鶹¹ÙÍø Board of Trustees approved the timeline for the upcoming presidential search during the board meeting Sept. 26. This follows the retirement announcement from President Dr. Carl Heilman during the College’s Board of Trustees September study session.
Barton has teamed up with the CKP Suicide Prevention Task Force to bring author, actor, and international public speaker Josh Rivedal to the Â鶹¹ÙÍø County campus to entertain and educate about the importance of mental health and wellbeing.
