Students interested in auditioning for vocal ensembles, instrumental ensembles, dance ensembles, learning about scholarships opportunities in performing arts for the 2022-2023 season, and visiting with our directors in vocal, instrumental, dance or theatre are encouraged to sign up for one of three “Scholarship Audition Days†on Feb. 12, March 12 or April 2 at auditions.bartonccc.edu.

As of January 11, it’s easy, our area is in moderate drought. The Southwest portion of Kansas is in extreme drought. The six to ten-day outlook (January 18 to 22) indicates we are predicted to have a 33 to 40% chance of above-normal temperatures and a leaning towards below-normal precipitation.

The Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Nursing Department wishes to announce that it will host a site visit for continuing accreditation of its Associate Degree nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

Barton will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 17. Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø's Center for Adult Education and the Shafer Art Gallery also will be closed. Offices will reopen and classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 18.

As of January 4, from Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø County, including Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø, heading north, south, and east we are now in moderate drought.Ìý East of Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø, it’s abnormally dry and the forecast isn’t promising.Ìý

Barton will host a blood drive from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Technical Building in room T-186, the Case New Holland Training area.
