Barton will host a blood drive from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 in the Technical Building in room T-186, the Case New Holland Training area. Donors will receive t-shirts and $5 e-cards. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks will be required.
Barton alumni and Adjunct Instructor of Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Program Tyler Brown wanted to be a dental hygienist, or so she thought. After completing Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s phlebotomy course as a pre-requisite for a hygienist program, she realized she had a new dream.Ìý

The Â鶹¹ÙÍø Theatre Department students in collaboration with the Great Bend Community Theatre will hold open auditions for all ages for their holiday play “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,†from 5-9 p.m. Oct. 11-13 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. A large group of Â鶹¹ÙÍø students participated in the ninth annual “Golden Belt Glow 4 Life†5k run/walk to help promote suicide awareness Saturday in Great Bend at Veteran’s Park. The event was put on by the Center for Counseling in Great Bend.
Barton and Pratt Community College have formed a partnership to provide an Associate Degree of Nursing program in the Pratt area.Ìý

No piece of pop-culture asks and answers this question better than the classic board game “Clue†and Â鶹¹ÙÍø Theatre will bring all the nostalgia to life with its production of “Clue, On Stage,†featuring multiple showings over two weekends in October.
