Barton will be closed May 26 for Memorial Day. The college is now on summer hours. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.Ìý The college will be closed on Fridays through July 25.
The drought monitor report as of Tuesday, May 13th shows a little progress with Severe drought at less than 2% and we are up to 18% totally out of dry conditions (mostly Southeast Kansas and a sliver of the Northwest.Ìý

Five Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø instructors earned the Distinguished Instructor Award (DIA) for the 2024-2025 academic year for their outstanding efforts in the classroom and were recognized at Âé¶¹¹Ù꿉۪s commencement ceremony Friday evening in the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Gymnasium.

Barton will host a hands-on “Cyber Summer Camp†for incoming sixth through eighth grade students from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 17-18 on the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø campus.
