***CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER*** Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s Early Childhood Education Program will host a free family event, “Wheels and Squeals,†from 9 a.m. to noon April 5 to celebrate the national Week of the Young Child.
"Dancing with the Cougars" returns this year with another dance workshop for the community featuring a tango dance class at 6:30 p.m. March 28 in Studio 34, and all proceeds go to support Â鶹¹ÙÍø Dance Theatre's trip to Chicago in May.
Area vocalists will have the opportunity to collaborate and learn from University of Kansas Voice Professor Dr. Genaro Mendez as part of his masterclass at 11 a.m. April 11 in the Chapel in the Fine Arts Building, followed by a recital with Â鶹¹ÙÍø Guitar Instructor Aleia Gonzalez and Â鶹¹ÙÍø Director of Accompaniment Dr. Alejandro Avila from 5-6 p.m.

Barton will host a screening of the documentary “Storm of Passion†March 22 at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium; a live panel discussion will follow the event featuring members of the Storm of Passion volunteer storm-chasing team.
The 15th Annual Â鶹¹ÙÍø Foundation Sporting Clay Shoot is set for April 27 at Camp Aldrich, offering participants a day of friendly competition while raising funds for a great cause.
Barton will host student recitals at 4:30 p.m. April 2, 16, and 30 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel in the Fine Arts Building. The recitals are free and open to the public.
