Barton will host its ninth annual Career Technical Education Fair for students grades 8-12 to learn about different career options on Friday, Feb. 2, and it will feature demonstrations, hands-on activities, refreshments, and prizes.

Barton Dance Theatre’s popular “Dancing with the Cougars,†fundraiser classes have returned for the spring with a line dancing class from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Jan. 19 in Studio 34, and all proceeds go to support Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Dance Theatre's trip to dance in New York City.Ìý

The final two candidates in the search for Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø's next president will be visiting the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø County area Jan. 16-19. The community is invited to public meetings to meet the candidates and ask their questions.

Barton will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 15. Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø's Center for Adult Education and the Shafer Art Gallery also will be closed. Offices will reopen, and classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
